The Field Gardens is a Kent based garden maintenance & garden design studio.

Robbie McClintock, aka The Field Guide, started his gardening career after a move out of London to rural Kent back in 2018. Having grown up in the Suffolk countryside & enjoyed numerous Scottish Highland holidays as a child Robbie has a close appreciation for all aspects of the UK landscape. 

Starting his gardening journey, Robbie learnt on the job with a garden maintenance job and is now formalising this hands on knowledge with a Garden Design Diploma from the prestigious London College of Garden Design. Due to graduate in July 2026, his time is currently spent working on design projects both for college & for existing clients whilst also maintaining a small handful of private gardens.
